South Africa is where most of our riders start. The Western Cape packs ocean roads, gravel passes, wine valleys and semi-desert into distances you can ride in a day, and the lodges and food at the end of each stage are some of the best on the continent.
We run two kinds of tours here. Mufasa and Sarabi follow the gravel version of the Garden Route and Route 62, climbing Swartberg Pass and crossing the Little Karoo. Simba stays on tar for riders who want the same coast and curves without the dust. Namib and Victoria both leave from the Cape and head north into Namibia and beyond.
